The Dates

 The Intergalactic Journeys begin on the first Saturday of every month.  The dates for the upcoming Journeys are:

• June: 6.2.07-6.19.07
• July: 7.7.07-7.24.07
• August: 8.4.07-8.21.07
• September: 9.1.07-9.18.07

The Cost

The cost of the 17-day Intergalactic Journey is $2,000.00 USD (airfare not included).  This includes all meals, accomodations, transportation, costs for all activities indicated in the itinerary, Spanish instruction, Spanish language coursebook, yoga class, and talks by anthropologists and biologists.

Where to Check-In

We will meet up at the Hostal Moneda in Mexico City, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.  At this time, all students will pay for the course.  We will depart from Mexico City to Mazunte at 7 p.m.
The address is: Calle de Moneda Nº 8.  The hostel is located one block from the Zócalo.
The nearest metro stop is: Zócalo.

Travel Checklist

To be prepared for the journey, you should pack:

• Clothes for all weather: comfortable hiking boots, raincoat, bathing suit, towel, and a set of beach clothes, a set of warm clothes
• Sunblock
• Camera
• Money to pay for the journey, and for additional expenses
• Passport
• Water bottle

The Path of the Journey

Saturday: Meet up in Mexico City.  Travel from Mexico City to Mazunte.
Monday to Friday: in Mazunte. 
Saturday: Travel to San Jose del Pacifico.
Sunday: Return to Mazunte.  
Monday to Thursday: in Mazunte.
Thursday night: Leave for Mexico City.
Friday: Travel from Mexico City to San Luis Potosi.  
Saturday: Venture into the desert and return to San Luis Potosi in the evening.  
Sunday: Return to Mexico City.
Monday: Farewell.
